What Is a Living Space?

Our Living spaces are designed to provide beautiful, high-quality and affordable accommodations whether adapted to be a secure, independent tiny home / micro home for a friend or family member or a relaxing 'home from home' at a holiday lodge retreat.

Eco Room are passionate about using environmentally friendly, recyclable materials wherever we can. We source our timber from PEFC sustainable forests and use recyclable products to produce a more eco-friendly building wherever we can.

All our living spaces are UK manufactured.

What Is a Micro Home?

A Micro Home is an independent, secure living space providing all the comforts of a conventional home though with a reduced number of rooms. Whereas ‘Tiny Houses’ offer ultra-condensed accommodation, a Micro Home is a step-up in size – think in terms of a standalone apartment.

What Is a Care Pod?

A Care Pod provides a similar quality living space to a Micro Home though with adaptations to accommodate the care needs of the occupant. This may include a hospital-style bed, a hoist and possibly a wet-room. Our Micro Homes can easily be adapted to a Care Pod and for this we would always consult with the appropriate professionals e.g. an Occupational Therapist, to assess and provide for the particular needs of the occupant.

All our accommodations are designed and installed with comfort, security and value in mind.

Eco Room Care Pods & Tiny Homes / Micro Homes:

Typically a more economical accommodation option for care provision.
Designed in consultation with professional Occupational Therapists to ensure access and facilities are appropriate to the particular needs of the resident.
Can, if necessary, be equipped with medical aids such as hospital beds, hoists and wet-rooms.

Offer year-round comfort in a fully insulated and attractive retreat.
Can provide regular income when rented out or a personal space to escape to at the drop of a hat.

Whether it’s an independent living space for a family member, a base for a holiday retreat or simply a place to relax beside a fishing lake that you’re looking for, we can advise and assist with all aspects of design, planning and installation to make sure you realise your dream.

All of our accommodations are single-storey and compliant to building regulations with detailed diagrams provided by Structural Engineers. Although not all accommodations require planning approval, we can assist when it does and once approved, installations can typically be completed in a matter of weeks.
